Amber Hongsermeier

Teacher / Choreographer

Amber Hongsermeier is a dancer, dance educator, and choreographer living in South Jersey since June 2015. Originally from Grand Island, NE she has since 2008 lived in Las Vegas, NV, Japan, and the tri-state area where she has worked as a dancer, model, and performance artist. In May of 2015, she graduated with her Bachelor of Arts in Dance from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln where she received the Susan Porter Award for excellence in dance artistry and choreography. She has studied extensively in ballet, jazz, and modern while also studying tap, hip hop, lyrical, belly dance, latin ballroom, and many styles of African dance. Amber teaches a wide variety of dance styles to beginner to advanced students and enjoys showing her choreography in dance concerts. Currently she dances for Ujima Dance Theatre, InFlux Dance Company, and is a guest artist for ballet based projects. Amber enjoys teaching and mentoring the next generation of dancers and is excited to join Edge Dance Center!
